Beautiful color on this! Love the expression. The focus is a little weird, b/c the left is in focus, but not the right - but maybe that was intended. She is an absoltuely doll!
Hmmm - I had the focus set on her eyes and at 100% crop they are both very sharp. Is one looking OOF here? Or is it something else you're talking about? I'm still working on focus and probably could have gone with a smaller aperture to get the rest of her in focus, but I really wanted her eyes and face to pop so I was pretty happy with the focus on this one...
I think I'm getting a little frustrated too because it seems like so much of the sharpness is lost when I upload. Maybe I'm doing something wrong? They look great when I print them but then I upload them and hear that they are soft... Just wondering if there's a better way. I sharpen in PS once (for print) and then do image size. Should I be sharpening them a second time for web? HELP!! :)
Your focus looks good from here. I think my only suggestion would be to crop out whatever she's got in her hands- because since >I< don't know what it is, I find it distracting. As far as sharpening for the web, when you save for the web, doesn't PS also sharpen? I'm not sure, but I think so.
Hmm - does PS automatically sharpen? I just go to image size and resize it that way. Maybe I need to start using the Save For Web option. There's got to be a reason it's there! :) Thanks ladies - I'm trying so hard to get all of this! I really appreciate the CC - that's what makes us question what we're doing and grow right? :)

Oh my! You're right! That is a classic pouty face! I agree, the focus seems off, but her eyes seem quite sharp. I also love the colors in this!

Oh!!! How wonderful you caught it on film!
I would crop in tighter, too.
