Discovering new life

Canon 5D 100mm 2.8 @ 1/1300 ISO 100
Teagan and I went outside while the other kids were sleeping and it was amazing watching her discover the world around her! Last summer she was much too little to really interact with her surroundings. This year I know she and Meg will both be running around discovering! It's going to be fun to watch! This shot was taken just after she tasted the clover and decided it wasn't good food!

I love the expression on her face! And with the string of drool to the clover it's obvious that she tasted it and didn't like it! Great story telling photo!! It looks like you had to deal with some harsh sun, but even though, you did a great job!

i wasn't being sarcastic - i was serious... you did get a great shot!!! i hope i didn't offend - just my weird aussie sense of humour!!! :)

No, Melissa - you didn't offend at all! :) I was happy to see that glob there.

Cindi - Thanks. Yes, the sun was harsh and it was hard to get the shot. I got a few others from different angles that had less shadows but none of them had the reaction that this one had.

Thanks Sue! I hope it made you smile!
