The Birthday Party...
You knew I would have to post pics from the party last night right? :) Here they are! Not the most technically perfect pictures ever, but I like them. CC welcome as always!! I know the lighting here isn't the best. I told my husband that the house we build will have to be lit up like times square! He rolled his eyes and mentioned how expensive the electric bill would be! LOL!

They are sooo cute, HAPPY Birthday to them :) I like the last one best, nice composition. What lens are you using...that might help your low light siuation :) It looks like you may have had to use a high ISO, so running them through noisewear may help too, they look a bit noisy here. Very cute, love the mess :) :)
love the cake pics. The pics look a little noisy on my end but that's probably because you upped the iso because of the lighting. I agree try running them through noiseware helps my pictures tremendously. Oh year, Happy Birthday to them!!!! What cuties you have.

Yup - I did use a high ISO but then I also accented the noise in the conversion I used. Just a tad bit to give them that grainy old fashioned look ( I figured I might as well work with the grain rather than against it - KWIM?) I'll try the noiseware and see which I prefer! :) I should have noted - I used my 28mm 1.8 and was still getting shutter speeds of about 1/50! Way too slow IMO. :) I was shocked I got any in focus pics!
