What a cutie! I love the colors in this photo....and your white background is so white! Can I ask how you got the white so white?? I really struggle with that!

she is definiely a cutie! the color looks a little lighter than your previous post of her...but the focus and composition are great!

Yeah - I went a little lighter with the contrast on this one so it was softer. I think it makes a nice Valentine's Pic, even though that wasn't necessarily what I intended when I took the shot. The heart she picked up and liked to play with!
Amy - Yes, I am in Ambers class! Good to see you! I got the white white by overexposing a full 2 stops. Then I went into PS and used the dodge tool to make it even whiter. But that only works if it's white to begin with. I've taken quite a few shots that were underexposed and at the point it's really tough to get it that white. Even though I shoot in RAW and use levels in PS. Make sure that your subject is pretty far away from the backdrop too - otherwise you'll get harsh shadows behind it (I've made that mistake way too often - I learned the hard way!)
This looks great. I love the composition much better in this one, and the skin tone looks wonderful. The colors are amazing! It looks fantastic!
Your background looks great! I love the soft colors of the dress. It's hard to tell in the picture but it looks like her eyes are a little on the soft side.
I didn't know you were in AMber's class! I am jealous! MOG~ Kim, seriously, this is the BEST picture of yours to date. EVERYTHING is perfect! Why isn't it over at the Patch...huh? LOL! Lookin' good! I talked about the girls on my blog today if you want to peek!
