As a continuation of yesterdays thread, I decided to get out my camera yesterday with one sole purpose - to get both eyes very, very sharp using different apertures. I was very happy with the results...

I did run a color pop on these and sharpened for web. Are they too sharp? I know there's a fine line between sharp and oversharpened.

I think they look great! His eyes look fabulous! Sometimes if you oversharpen you get the funny looking hair but it looks fine!!Yeah!

the color is awesome! his eyes are to die for-watch out girls! on my computer the first 2 look a little too sharp but the last one is perfect.

The colors are fabulous!! I think the first one looks oversharpened. If you look at the right side of his face and around the edges of his body, it just isn't as smooth as it should be. Otherwise, I think you did great!
I'm laughing because the 2nd two were cropped from the first, so it must be an optical illusion that one can be sharper than the others? I just opened the first, cropped it for the 2nd pic and then again as actual pixels for the 3rd picture. But thanks ladies - I'm very happy with how these came out! :)
Wow look at those gorgeous eyes! I also agree that the 1st image looks like it was over sharpened. You can see the fussiness around his face. His shirt seems to bright or something too. But in the 2nd pic (1st crop) his face and shirt look softer. And right on! TFS
Thanks! Even though I wanted to capture him playing with his new toy the first one really doesn't have enough in it to convey that. Plus there were other shots that captured that. I really like the 2nd one too. The first one must have gotten oversharpened when I saved it for web somehow? Weird! At first I thought maybe it was just some of your screens. But if everyone is saying the same thing, there has to be something odd going on!
