I really like this one. He is adorable. I love how you can see the sand kicking up from under his feet. I think this would also look good as alandscape portrait with less of the white. I really like the comp on this :)
Oohhh I love it. I love the framing between the grass and the empty sky above and the cute little guy. Great shot. We're going to the beach at Bald Head Island, NC in September. Can't wait to take shots of my kids there! Thanks for sharing.

Sue - My in camera crop shows much of the sand and much less sky. I cropped this in PP and it didn't have nearly as much impact as it does with the empty sky. I think I like it because I normally fill up ever nook and cranny of the frame and this is a nice departure from that. :)
I love this shot! I think I'm with Sue too... you could pull a great horizontal out of this one... but I don't know.... kind of like the white too!
what a great shot!! i love it just how it is!! i took heaps of shots at the beach over summer, esp. the kids boogie boarding. looking forward to some winter beach shots over the next few months, with jackets and beanies!!
