I've been playing with a lot of texture lately. What do you think? I could imagine finding a photo like this tucked away in a grandmother's hope chest. I thought the antiqued look worked well for this type of photo.

Hey Kim! I like this pic--the technique is ok, imo, but I wish there was a bit more contrast on the people. Anyway--something fun to try!
I think you got the "old photo" look down...but I would love to see the people stand out more...I love trying different techniques...
Thanks! I can always count on my peas to give me some great advice! :) I'll try bumping up the contrast a bit...
I love the beach ~ wish I could go take photographs there! I wish their faces weren't so shadowed ~ I'd like to see her look more detailed!
i like the effect...have to agree with the pp...a little more contrast to the people would be great. also, to give it that old time feel, maybe get rid of the sneakers if the peeps were willing...jmo! great capture though!
Oh, I like it... I need some details on how you did this too!!!
Very interesting photo.. Love the feeling of love in the photo. Love the effect.
Can't imagine how you did this. The effect is cool. I agree with pp.
Kim I went to Amber’s website to respond to your picture and was surprised to see it gone. Love this technique will you share how you did it? Thanks ~ Teresa R
